This Shale Network subset contains groundwater observations from Beaver, Washington, and Greene counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. It accompanies Shaheen and colleagues’ 2022 study of groundwater chemistry where shale gas development overlaps with earlier oil, gas, and coal extraction.
